A FREE PHOTO SHOOT - How can this be?

                 
This is a common arrangement between photographers and models referred to as TFP.  TFP or "Time for Photos" is  when a model donates their time in exchange for the photographers images. This arrangement benefits both parties since no money is  exchanged.  It is free to the model and photographer.

Models and photographers need to have an updated portfolio of their work since images are only good for about a year. No photographer wants to see images of what you used to look like. We both use these images to promote ourselves.

A portfolio can cost a model upwards of $500.00 dollars and the sky is the limit. Average cost is about $1,000.00 depending on how many images are needed and the photographers skill level. Models can charge a photographer the same amount for their services.

Most of the model shoots I do are with wannabe models helping to provide them with images
for their portfolios. So I get free models to practice on and they get a free portfolio.

As part of my service I  provide the model with a CD of their finished images and a free web site with these images in exchange for their efforts (See my "Models Portfolios" section on my home page for examples).
